Plan Avanza 2, Strategy 2011-215 |

On September 14, 2010, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade presented 2011-2015 strategy in the proceedings of the Plan Avanza, taking the opportunity to highlight the increase, by 19%, experienced in the call 2010, reaching a total of 267.5 M € between grants and loans. Furthermore, data about participation in various programs of the Plan Avanza were told: 3101 projects submitted, 867 avanza Formación, 1756 Avanza Competitividad (R&D&i), 263 Ciudadanía Digital and 215 Avanza Contenidos de Interés Social. All projects totaling an overall budget of € 2.534M, requesting 1.911M€. The resolution of this call is scheduled throughout the month of September.
With regard to the Strategy 2011-2015, adopted on 16 July, there were 10 objectives that focus the efforts of the Plan Avanza 2:
- Promote ICT innovation processes in public administration
- Extending ICT in health care and social welfare
- Promote the application of ICT to education and training system
- Improve the capacity and the extension of telecommunications networks
- Extend the safety culture among citizens and businesses
- Increase use of advanced digital services for citizens
- Extending the use of ICT solutions in the enterprise business
- Develop the technological capabilities of the ICT sector
- Strengthen the digital content industry
- Develop green ICT
