USB 3.0 is remarkable for its improved energy efficiency, reducing consumption by one third, and for its speed rate of up to ten times faster.
This is possible because, although the new USB 3.0 is based on the same copper wiring from earlier versions to ensure compatibility with older devices, introduces a change in the use of transmission lines, increasing from 4 in USB 2.0 to 5 in the new architecture.
